The no crap weather app

Glimpse is the no crap weather app. It provides just the essentials in a single uncluttered view: today's temperature and chance of rain.

No scrolling or navigating through endless tabs to find the information you need to plan your day.

Glimpse will not:

- reveal dramatic maps of wave height or wind direction

- offer scintillating background pictures

- advise you of sunset or sunrise times

- display animated wind speed icons

Glimpse does not even hint at dew point, humidity, barometric pressure, air quality, wind chill, pollen count or UV index and it most certainly does not report realtime traffic.

Glimpse is for situations like this:

Child, yelling: "Dad, is it going to rain today"

You, yelling: "Hang on, let me check the weather!"

... with a flourish, you tap on the Glimpse icon

You, yelling: "No! But its going to be really cold this morning so don't wear those shorts!"

Child, overcome with emotion: "Thanks Dad, ever since you downloaded Glimpse Weather I know I've been able to count on you! I'm gonna buy you a Porsche for father's day!"

So if you don't know what a Doppler is and don't care about moon phases, Glimpse might just be the weather app for you!
