Since the devil was sentenced to go to hell because he refused God's command and to prostrate to the father of man, Adam because of his arrogant nature which is more proud of his creation, then at that time the drums of war were beaten by the devil. He vowed to tempt and deceive human power from all directions in various ways, so that humans fall into hell with him. That is the devil's oath and ideals that have been stated before Allah &, which caused many worshipers, students of knowledge, legal practitioners, and public figures to be caught in the devil's snares and deceptions, because the traps and machinations are so subtle and beautiful. It is not surprising that the phenomena of superstition, bid'ah, superstition and other deviations have sprung up and spread in the midst of society in every generation with different modes and appearances.

Of the many humans, there is only one type that is able to go through the devil's deception, namely people who are sincere in worship. This is in line with God's promise emphasized in the Qur'an Al Karim. Therefore, we need to know and be aware of the devil's traps and deceptions that can lead us into adversity which will lead to the torments of hellfire.

We hope that this book, which describes various kinds of deception by the devil at every level and line of life in society, can awaken us to be more vigilant and improve ourselves in order to worship better.
