Titration ColorCam
About Titration ColorCam
Sound and Touch Feedback for Detecting Titration Endpoints
The idea of Titration ColorCam was conceived in an effort to develop a smartphone aid that would enable colorblind and visually impaired students to perform acid-base titration experiments in chemistry labs. The app analyzes the color changes involved in a titration, translates data into sound (beeps) and tactile (vibrations) feedback for detecting an endpoint.
The application currently supports the following indicators:
1. Crystal Violet
2. Cresol Red
3. Thymol Blue
4. 2, 4-Dinitrophenol
5. Bromophenol Blue
6. Methyl Orange
7. Bromocresol Green
8. Methyl Red
9. Eriochrome Black T
10. Bromocresol Purple
11. Bromothymol Blue
12. Phenol Red
13. M-Nitrophenol
14. Phenolphthalein
15. Thymolphthalein
16. Starch
The application is currently in beta state. Please report any bugs and suggestions to [email protected], we will be happy to improve the app based on your feedback.
