Welcome!

This is Travel Safe, a mobile application for safe journey which tracks you online during the journey course when you are in trouble and press panic.

How to setup after installing the application

Register : The IMEI will work as a user name, enter desired password and register.

Settings : First add SOS contact no. and Email address after registering the handset.

My Journey : Enter the journey details; starting point, ending point, expected travel time, mode of transport, companion (if any) followed by any special note and press start my journey.

Stop : Do not forget to stop the journey as you reach the destination or a Panic message/Email will be sent automatically to the added SOS contacts and Emails.

Extend : To extend the journey; if stuck in traffic, etc.

Panic : In trouble don't panic just press panic and a SMS will be sent to your added contacts.

A panic message/email contains the login details:

(a) login url www.travel-safe.in/login.html

(b) the IMEI Number of the handset - acts as user name

(c) password, that has been entered at registration

A panic email is sent when the handset is turned off after starting the journey or somebody snatches the handset and turned it off.

How to track:

(a) Login to the website using the link given in the panic SMS/Email using the user name and password

(b) All the journey details will be shown after it's associated travel ID, enter the travel ID and press find

(c) Click find location, this will take to google maps and will display almost accurate location for every 30 sec. duration.

(d) **User not found** (query submitted by one of the users)- If this error message appears after entering the "correct" user name and password

1. try changing the browser of the handset - if opening the website on handset using SMS link or try opening the link in any computer system, desktop/laptop

2. try deleting browser's history, cookies, clear form data , refresh browser and retry (settings/privacy and security), apply the same if opening the link in desktop/laptop via panic email

Basic requirement:

Maintain sufficient data balance/SMS packs as online tracking needs internet.

Add [email protected] to contacts or send a test mail from every added SOS Emails to [email protected] or the panic email can go to spam/junk email folder.

Please note sending SMS depends on the cellular operator's coverage area/SMS pack balance/Data balance.

Travel Safe recommends:

Start a test journey after registering the handset, login to the website and check whether the correct journey details are displaying, enter travel ID to check whether latitude and longitude are showing numeric values, if not check location access settings in the handset or refer to the user manual or try changing the location, don't forget to enable data roaming while travelling outside the cellular operator's circle.

You are allowing Travel Safe to track you when you press Panic or could not reach in time and a panic message/email is sent to SOS contact.
