About TwoTimer

Use 2+ phones to measure times.

When is the TwoTimer app useful?

1) To time an experiment where the event to be measured is very short.

Example: To measure the time it takes to drop a weight from a height of 2 meters.

2) To time an experiment where you cannot see both the physical location of the starting and ending of an event.

Example: To measure the time it takes to drop a weight from the top of a building where it's impossible to watch both the top of the building and the ground at the same time.

In both of these cases TwoTimer allows one person (or a group each with its own phones) to observe and record the start of an experimental event. A second person/group will record the event's end. Then the event duration can be calculated by subtracting the event's end time from the event's start time.
