Split APK Installer & Manager

Split APK Installer does two jobs: it installs split APK bundles, and it manages the apps already on your device.

Modern Android apps ship as several APK files — a base APK plus splits for your CPU, your screen density and each language. Tapping one of those files does not install the app. This app writes every part in a single install session, the way Android expects.

INSTALL BUNDLES

• .apks, .xapk, .apkm, plain .zip archives of APKs, and ordinary .apk files

• The format is detected from what is inside the archive, not from the file name

• See what a bundle holds before installing it: package name, version, size and every split

• Leave out the splits you do not need — languages you do not read, densities for other screens

• A warning when nothing in the bundle matches your device's CPU

• Live progress, and a reason in plain words when Android refuses: signature mismatch, downgrade, not enough space, incompatible device

• Hand over a folder once and every bundle saved into it from then on appears by itself — your own downloads folder, WhatsApp or Telegram documents, files received over Bluetooth

APP MANAGER

• Browse everything installed — user, system or split apps — and search by name or package

• Sort by name, size, recently updated or recently installed

• Details: versions, install and update dates, size, min and target SDK, the store that installed it, and the splits the app is made of

• Signing certificate, with SHA-256 and SHA-1 fingerprints you can copy and compare against a published one

• The permissions an app requests, grouped the way Android groups them

• Export any app as an .apks bundle, splits included — the same format this app installs, so it goes back on later or onto another device. An app with no splits comes out as a plain .apk that any device opens

• Share an app straight to Quick Share, a chat or an email

• Uninstall or force stop through Android's own dialogs

BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY

• No accounts, no sign-in

PERMISSIONS, AND WHY

• Install unknown apps — needed to install anything. Android still shows its own confirmation for every single install

• Query all packages — so the App Manager can list what is installed

• Read storage (Android 10 and below) — only to list bundles already saved on the device. On Android 11 and newer no device-wide file permission is requested at all; you hand over the folders you choose, and nothing else

Nothing is installed, uninstalled or stopped silently: Android's own dialog confirms every one.
