Vahan Shakti is a vehicle tracking application compliant with AIS 140 standards, designed specifically for monitoring vehicles equipped with Vehicle Location Tracking Devices (VLTD). The AIS 140 standard, mandated by the government, requires vehicles to be fitted with certified tracking devices to ensure enhanced security, real-time tracking, and seamless communication with authorities.

The Vahan Shakti app enables users, such as fleet operators and individual vehicle owners, to track and monitor alerts generated from these AIS 140-compliant devices. Through the app’s intuitive dashboard, users can view important information such as the real-time location, speed, route history, and alerts for their vehicles. This feature is crucial for timely response to emergencies or irregular vehicle activities, providing an added layer of security and accountability.

Moreover, Vahan Shakti is equipped with a device onboarding feature that allows users to register and manage devices from various manufacturers. This flexibility ensures that the system can integrate with diverse hardware, making it easier for users to comply with regulatory requirements regardless of the device brand or model. All registered devices are linked with vehicles that are authorized and registered within the state of Maharashtra, ensuring adherence to regional policies and standards.
