The GOLD Guidelines for the treatment of stable COPD - 2023

"Combined COPD Assessment according to the GOLD 2023 document" is the APP by Prof. Fabbri and Prof.

Corbetta that allows the Doctor to quickly classify the COPD patient in one of the different

GOLD profiles.

For each profile identified, the APP allows you to obtain a different one in a few simple steps

therapeutic approach as indicated by the recommendations of the GOLD 2023 Guidelines*.

The APP, created with the non-conditioning support of Laboratori Guidotti, is reserved for doctors only.

*The GOLD Guidelines provide an authoritative paradigm for the treatment of stable COPD, which allows adaptation of

therapy in relation to the combined assessment of: symptoms; number of exacerbations in the previous year and spirometric severity

of impaired respiratory function.

By integrating these three important clinical aspects, it is possible to identify three different COPD patient profiles

(conventionally indicated with the letters A, B, E), for each of which the GOLD Guidelines recommend different approaches

therapeutic.
