Why do we collect location data even if the app is closed or not in use?

Our app has a location-based seller tracking feature that requires access to location in the background. This feature allows supervisors to follow salespeople's journeys and see the time they spend visiting customers along their route. By having access to location in the background, the app can collect precise data on seller activity, making it easier to manage teams and optimize sales routes.
