Visit Rethymno

The project "CREATION OF INNOVATIVE DIGITAL PROJECTION APPLICATIONS FOR THE CITY OF RETHYMNO" is co-financed by the European Union - European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by national resources within the OP "Crete" 2014-2020.

The implementation of the project aims at the development of thematic cultural tourism in the city, highlighting at the same time the special and unique elements of the city of Rethymno, which will contribute to the promotion of the Rethymno region, as a destination that offers unique experiences to the visitor and enables development of alternative and varied activities.

The system is addressed to all citizens as well as all tourists who want to visit the Municipality of Rethymno and want to receive information of touristic and cultural interest. The main advantage of this system is that it enables anyone interested to navigate in a virtual 3D environment and get a better idea of ​​the area before visiting it.
