The Dandelion app offers your children entertaining and educationally valuable applications that help to develop logic, cognitive working methods and spatial imagination. With Vobi, the people's voice beaver, you can play to more knowledge and general education. In line with the weekly Dandelion children's newspaper, there is now also a Dandelion app that can be downloaded free of charge.

The app is divided into two areas:

Parents area

• In the app, parents can find events and activities that take place in Saxony-Anhalt and the surrounding area

• Plan the perfect children's birthday - checklists and numerous other tips and tricks for the perfect party, including suggestions for food and games

• Child-friendly and delicious baking and cooking recipes - also from the region

• In an emergency, all you have to do is click on “Emergency Services” to find out which doctor and pharmacy in the country are on call

• the addresses and contact details of all schools in the country

Children's area

The app was developed for schoolchildren but also for younger children and invites you to interactively play and learn:

• There are lesson-related puzzles for deepening, repeating or promoting the learning content in school. These are divided into grades 1 to 4. During the task solving, your child trains cognitive functions, which improves attention and memory - incorrectly answered questions are asked repeatedly.

• A number of coloring pages encourage your child's imagination and fine motor skills. The virtually created works of art are not lost. These can be saved and retrieved directly in the app.

• What was the Tour de France again or what exactly is a hurricane? The large Vobi lexicon has the right answer ready - here you will find all child-friendly explanations that appear daily in the Volksstimme. To ensure that the fun is not neglected, children can also play a game of “find pairs”. This game promotes the ability to concentrate, the ability to remember and trains to distinguish and recognize patterns.

• In the math quiz, your child solves different multiplication and multiplication tables. Mental arithmetic improves logical thinking and trains your child's brain. The tasks help to create a solid foundation for mathematics in a playful way.

• The app contains jokes that are really fun and your child probably doesn't know yet.

The Dandelion app is a world full of tips and tricks, fun and learning content for the whole family.

The user interface is in German, family-friendly and interactive.
