Voltura shows EV charging stations and their live availability, so you can find a free charger before you set off. Whether you're on your daily commute or planning a long trip, Voltura gives you a list of chargers in your city — sorted by availability.

Voltura does not collect or estimate charging data itself. Every listing is republished from one of these official open sources, and each country's source is also shown and linked inside the app on the About screen:

Finland — Fintraffic · Digitraffic AFIR charging network API (CC 4.0 BY). Live EVSE status and tariff data. https://digitraffic.fi

France — IRVE consolidated dataset, data.gouv.fr / transport.data.gouv.fr (Licence Ouverte 2.0). Live EVSE status from the IRVE dynamic feed. https://transport.data.gouv.fr

Germany — OpenStreetMap (ODbL) + Open Charge Map (CC 4.0 BY), with spatial filtering via the Overpass API. https://openstreetmap.org

Spain — OpenStreetMap (ODbL) + Open Charge Map (CC 4.0 BY), with spatial filtering via the Overpass API. https://openstreetmap.org

When you type a city name, Voltura needs to turn it into a map location before it can query the charging-data source above. For Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, this lookup is done via OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service (CC-BY-SA, © OpenStreetMap contributors). https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org

Finland and Poland are not listed here because their official sources above support searching by city natively, so no separate geocoding lookup is made for them.

Voltura never invents, estimates or fabricates charger data — what you see is what the source published. Charger availability can change at any time and may be out of date or incorrect at the source. Always verify availability at the station. Voltura is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data.
