Weather, Alert, Recommendation, & News (WARN) App:

This App provides a location based real time weather metrics collected via a network of 2000+ weather stations across state of Andhra Pradesh (India).

In addition to temperature, rainfall, humidity it provides 6 other irrigation related parameters, like soil moisture, groundwater level, wind speed & direction etc. This app also provides alerts for any extreme weather conditions specific to the device location, like cyclone, floods , heat-wave etc. It provides tips (what to do) to farmers specific to local weather conditions (e.g. when irrigation is required etc.).

Apart from automatic location sensing, this app can be configured for a fixed location. Hence, even if a user is travelling to different place (including outside Andhra Pradesh) they can still see the weather condition, alert, & recommendations etc for his/her place of interest in AP.

All weather data directly comes from automatic weather stations managed by Andhra Pradesh State Development Planning Society (APSDPS) , Government of Andhra Pradesh.
