Welcome to Rostov-on-Don 2018

The marketing application with the technology of augmented reality for the promotion of Rostov-on-Don as the Host City of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The application visualizes the infrastructure facilities built for the 2018 World Cup and shows the uniqueness of the Rostov region.

The application works by pointing gadgets on pages of a printed booklet «Welcome to Rostov-on-Don 2018» about the Host City using special tags. A 3D model of the object will appear on screen through the technology of augmented reality. Some models have additional animation.

- Model of the "Aksinya" monument and the "Don" river;

- Model of the "Platov" airport;

- 3D model of "Voroshilovskiy Bridge";

- 3D model of "Rostov-Arena" stadium;

- 3D model of "Teatralnaya Square" in Rostov-on-Don and the FIFA Fan Fest;

- 3D model of a tray with crayfish and Don's delicacies.
