Times couldn't be better. Diversity is demanded everywhere. Weltwoche is at the forefront and celebrates the diversity of opinions.

For this purpose, we have completely redesigned the Weltwoche Digital and placed it on a modern technical foundation.

What changes?

- Weltwoche and Weltwoche Daily will be merged. That means: In future there will only be one app, one website for mobile and one for desktop use. And all this under the name Weltwoche. This strategy aims to unite two worlds under one roof. Once that of the complex research and analysis and once that of the quick news stories and comments.

- Metered Freemium. This means that part of the content will be free, while another part will be subject to a charge - with a certain number of chargeable articles being able to be activated through a registry.

- Permanent updates. This means that the site is updated several times a day with new content.

- New technology. That means: faster loading speed and further development. The technology used by our tech partner SEAIO comes from Google and is called Flutter. Flutter is a high performance and efficient open source framework for developing apps for iOS, Android on a single code base. This means increased development speed when adapting the user interface to user needs.
