It provides tasting information, one-click phone dialing & emailing, and one-click mapping using GoogleMaps. With a database of over 5800 wineries and growing, Winerypedia is a wiki-style web site that allows users to update winery information at http://www.winerypedia.com/. The mobile application is useful for wine enthusiasts traveling to wine country, as well as business travelers who may be surprised to find a winery/tasting room nearby. Note that this application requires carrier OR WiFi coverage! It will work without GPS functionality, but the true power of the application will be missed.
