Wisely is a clinical decision support tool to assist physicians in ordering imaging tests in a practical and fast way. Our suggestions are based on up-to-date scientific evidence and endorsed by several international medical associations. The purpose of the application is to improve clinical outcomes by prioritizing the most appropriate imaging modalities for each clinical situation, in addition to avoiding unnecessary imaging tests.

How to use:

1. Choose the anatomical region related to your patient's symptom.

2. Select the symptom or diagnosis most compatible with the clinical situation.

3. Decide which clinical variant best fits your patient's presentation.

4. That's it, you'll get the result of which imaging modalities are best suited for your patient.

The imaging methods are grouped into three categories:

1. Appropriate - where the benefits of the procedure or treatment outweigh the risks thereof;

2. Possibly appropriate - procedures where benefits are equivocal

3. Inappropriate - where the damages of the procedure do not outweigh the benefits
