World Energy Outlook Vienna

VERBUND and the International Energy Agency (IEA) are organising the launch of the World Energy Outlook 2018 on 14th November 2018 in Vienna. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the IEA, is leading this initiative together with VERBUND. High-level representatives from government, industry and research from Europe, Asia and the United States will be discussing key emerging topics of the global energy debate. This high-level event is the first official public event on the World Energy Outlook 2018 following the launch to the international press on 13th November. The high-level dialogue in Vienna aims at contributing to a focused exchange on relevant developments in energy. It seeks to highlight issues which make a difference for the future of energy, focusing on the challenge of electrification with a global perspective.
