The WoundGenex Barcode Scanner is a HIPAA-compliant app that can be used to expedite inventory control by scanning barcodes upon product arrival and product application. The app allows providers and staff to eliminate the data entry burden by automatically updating the portal database with an easy-to-use scanner and patient schedule interface.

- Patient name and MRN barcode scanning

- Access provider/practice patient schedules by month or day (with provider ADT feed interface)

- Option to scan patient name, where barcode exists, or choose patient from a schedule, or manually enter patient name and MRN

- Scan to receive all barcodes as they arrive

- Ability to choose the product type to be received

- Access to scanning history based on provider purge policy
