WW13/FG11

In 2017, the Gender Studies Institute of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianopolis, Brazil) will host, along with the International Seminar Doing Gender 11, the 13th edition of Women's Worlds Congress, which will take place for the first time in América do Sul. this is an event that gathers every three years women from all over the world, from both academia and activism. The meeting mobilized various sectors of feminism, that have been conquering spaces in recent decades, promoting debates, readings and self-critical. The feminist struggle everyday is full of challenges, and it is updated on the discussions held at each meeting, the exchange of experiences, proposals for action and deepening of local situations.
