About Yook Sung Jae:

Yook Sung Jae is a South Korean singer, actor, entertainer and host. He is a member and third generation leader of the BTOB boy band and his sub-group, BTOB Blue.

Yook Sungjae was born on May 2, 1995 in Yongin, Gyeonggi, South Korea. He has one older sister and his father is the CEO of an IT company that deals with semiconductors.

He studied briefly for one month in England and the Philippines.

In September 2015, Yook Sungjae became one of the main hosts of the Inkigayo music program and left the show in May 2016. In 2016, Sungjae was appointed as the ambassador of the King Sejong Institute. He also became part of the first sub-unit of BTOB, BTOB Blue, and debuted in September 2016.

From 2016-2017, Yook Sungjae starred in the hit fantasy romance Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. He also joined the cast for the Law of the Jungle reality-documentary filmed in Sumatra, Indonesia.

In August 2017, he participated in a single digital project, Piece of BTOB. He released the song "Say It" and "Paradise", the latter of which was personally compiled and written by himself, on August 30.

In 2019, for seven years of BTOB's birthday, Yook Sungjae was elected as their new leader.
