YouLook is the social network of human-knowledge. YouLook's mission is to provide a free online open encyclopedia for the Internet community of the World, a place where you might find, share, discuss anything of knowledge, understanding and experience.

TOPICS

With YouLook, anything can become a topic, whether it is academic or popular. Each of YouLook's topics plays a role similar to an article on other encyclopedias.

YouLook allows easy access to all topics, for example a historical figure such as Socrates, Napoleon, etc, or a comic character such as Superman, Batman, etc. You can even create a brand new topic, for example to introduce about a new mathematical formula you just found, or you recently published a book, or developed a new product for your company, etc. Along with basic information on your topic, you can also upload photos or movies to support your topic. You will earn rewards once your topic becomes a very popular search..

CONTRIBUTING

You might write articles, upload photos and add videos to any topics, including yours and other's. These types of data are called "resources".

The resources of a topic should reflect the theme of that topic. However, you always have the freedom to be for or against the view of the topic's creator. We embrace any debates in the spirit of understanding and mutual respect.

Once you contribute resources to a topic, you will be one of its contributors. Anyone can leave comments on these resources, like or dislike them. You will have many opportunities to reach out and interact with others through these activities.

FOLLOWING AND FRIENDING

YouLook uses the term "Following" for topics, and the term "Friending" for users.

When you are interested in a topic, you might decide to “Follow” it in order to continue to monitor the activities happening on that topic.

Also you might find someone to add as your friend. This action requires mutual agreement between the two parties. After you have successfully added someone as your friend, you will have more ways to interact with them through chatting, messaging and other communication tools built into YouLook. In addition, YouLook is the new, exciting way of keeping track of your friend’s activities through the notification system, encouraging you to actively engage and explore more on various topics of your interests.
