Most whether apps offer a plethora of settings and configurations and unfortunately they get confused in their own conundrum of settings which leads to broken features and functionality. The forecast location is always your current location, units are fixed to European continental units and the forecast type is always 'hourly'.

You may decide to enable a persistent notification which will continously display current temperature/weather conditions in your notification bar with updates every 15 minutes.
