Zavar

The village of Zavar is located 8 km southeast of Trnava, at an altitude of 127 m. n. m. on the eastern edge of the Trnava loess sheet. Cadastrally, it borders the villages of Križovany nad Dudváhom, Šúrovce, Lovčice and the city of Trnava. As of November 10, 2018, the village had 2,087 inhabitants. Two-thirds of the PSA Peugeot Citroën factory is located in the Zavara cadastre. Thanks to her, Zavar expanded.
