🧬 Multitrack, clip by clip

Lanes hold as many clips as you drop on them. Long-press a clip and drag it anywhere: along the timeline, onto another lane, past a clip in its way, with a live preview of exactly where it will land. Pinch to zoom, split a clip at the playhead or join neighboring clips back into one, align one clip to another with an in-place preview, duplicate a layer, mix everything down, or commit your edits into a new layer and keep building. A 30-clip session plays back smoothly.

🎨 See the sound before you hear it

Waveform bars can color by spectral prominence. Steady background noise, wind, room tone, hiss, stays gray no matter how loud it is; a sound that rises above it lights up in its frequency's color the moment it starts, even when it's quieter than the background. Blue is bass, amber the speech range, red treble. The word buried in a noisy take shows up by eye, so you drop the cut exactly where it starts instead of scrubbing for it by ear. On by default in the cutting tools, or everywhere if you want it.

• Trim & Cut works right on the timeline: mark cut points, cut the section under the playhead, restore any removed piece with one tap

• Split a clip into several pieces in one pass, listen to each piece on its own, and drop the ones you don't want

• Reverse any layer

• Per-layer volume with linear fade in and fade out

• Compress dynamic range with a single knob, with automatic make-up gain and a safety limiter

• Clipped, overloaded audio is flagged right on the waveform, with a hint when Compress can fix it

• Every cut plays through clean: an engine-level fade removes the click at edit seams

Change speed without changing pitch, or shift pitch without changing length, and hear the result instantly as you adjust. The "Keep natural sound" toggle keeps a shifted voice or instrument sounding like itself, even on large shifts. Tuned engine modes for voice, mixed audio, and music.
