• When active on a managed child device, the app displays a persistent, non-dismissible notification in the system status bar. This ensures the device user is always aware that screen time control and application rules are active.

2. Android ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API USAGE:

• ZentryLock requires the AccessibilityService API to function.

• Why we use it: The Accessibility Service intercepts window state changes to detect in real-time which app is currently open in the foreground on the child's device.

• What it does: It compares the foreground package name against parental blocking lists, daily usage limits, and screen-free schedules configured by the parent. If a rule is violated, it launches the secure lock screen overlay to block access. It is also used to prevent children from circumventing settings or disabling parental controls without authorization.

• What it DOES NOT do: The Accessibility Service is never used to read screen contents, capture keystrokes, monitor private messages, or collect any personal/sensitive information. No data accessed via this API is shared or transmitted outside the parent-paired connection.
