For Muslims, the Holy Book of the Quran is the main book of the believer and the focus of the main thoughts and provisions of Islam. Translated from the Arabic language, the word "Quran" means "reading aloud" or "edification."

When the Prophet Muhammad was forty years old, the first revelation was sent to him. This happened on the Night of Power, which falls on the month of Ramadan.

Then, over the course of twenty-three years, the Holy Book of the Qur'an was transmitted through the angel Jabrail, which, after the words of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, was recorded by his associates.

There are one hundred and fourteen chapters in the Qur'an, each of which consists of verses. The order in which the surahs are located in the Quran do not correspond to the chronology, the order in which the surahs of the Holy Book of the Quran were transmitted through the angel Jabrail - the verses were sent to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in different ways: in different places and at different times.
