Fasting in the month of Ramadan (another name is Ramadan) is one of the five pillars of Islam, Muslims must observe it without fail from morning to evening prayer.

In 2022, fasting in the month of Ramadan begins on April 2. Muslims throughout the month of Ramadan refuse to eat during the day.

Ramadan ends the second most important holiday - Eid al Fitr (Feast of Conversation), which occurs on the last day of the holy month, after sunset and lasts three days.
