Sheikh Khalid Al-Rashed was born in 1970. His sheikhs include Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz, Sheikh Abdullah bin Jibreen, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Barrak, and Sheikh Abdullah Al-Saad.

He has delivered numerous lessons, lectures, and scholarly meetings. He is also involved in numerous da'wah activities and scholarly courses. He holds weekly lessons in several cities and villages, and has also held several scholarly courses in Al-Quway'iyah, Jubail, and Ar-Rayn. He has also made several da'wah trips to the southern part of the Kingdom.

Those who know the sheikh closely realize the strength of his knowledge. He sometimes delivers lessons extemporaneously, without preparation, yet is amazed by his ability to recall the narrators of hadith, their chains of transmission, and his presentation of the various schools of thought. This demonstrates the breadth of his knowledge and insight.
