Rushd application provided by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance

“Rushd” is a platform directed to all citizens, residents and visitors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, concerned with electronic services provided by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance. This application comes from the Ministry’s belief in the importance of digital transformation and the necessity of providing its various services through smart devices.

“Rushd” application showcases the most prominent services of the Ministry of Electronic Islamic Affairs, and includes the following services:

1- The electronic web Qur’an service: It contains the latest electronic copies of the Qur’an from the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, with twelve narrations, which are:

• Hafs on the authority of Asim.

• Shu’bah from Asim.

• They said on the authority of Nafi’.

• Warsh on the authority of Nafi’.

• Al-Bazi on the authority of Ibn Kathir.

• Qunbil, on the authority of Ibn Kathir.

• Al-Duri on the authority of Abu Amr.

• Al-Susi on the authority of Abu Amr.

• Hisham on the authority of Bin Amer.

• Bin Dhakwan on the authority of Bin Amer.

• Khalaf on the authority of Hamza.

• Khallad on the authority of Hamza.

Through this service, the Ministry seeks to provide the product of the scientific academy to the users of the application, including novels, translations and interpretations.

2- Prayer times service: It includes prayer times for all regions of the Kingdom, and contains a tool for determining prayer times using the device’s website. It is provided in cooperation with the Umm Al-Qura Calendar Supervisory Committee.

3- Qibla direction service, covering all regions of the Kingdom.

4- Awareness services for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.

5- Communication service with the Ministry.

6- Other Ministry applications on smart devices.

And another group of electronic services will be added successively to this application.
