Masnavi Manavi is the name of a book of poetry by Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi, a poet and Sufi Balkhi. This book consists of 26,000 verses and 6 books and is one of the best books of ancient Persian mystical literature and Persian wisdom after Islam.

This book is composed in the form of a Masnavi poem, which is in fact the title of the book. Although before Rumi, other poets such as Sanai and Attar also used the poetic form of Masnavi, but Rumi's Masnavi has a higher literary level.

This book was written at the request of Rumi's student, Hesamuddin Hassan Chalabi, in the years 662 to 672 AH / 1260 AD.
