The waiting was endless: an address took 30 to 60 seconds to be declared unreachable; the verdict now comes in about a dozen seconds, and the count stops at the first sign of a response, so slower hardware is not cut off. Second point: an unexpected error could lead to a blank, frozen screen; a message and a restart button take its place. The speed test introduced in the previous update is untouched.
