This app is taken from the book: Al-Nawawīs 40 Aḥādīṯ: Contemporary Explanation of the Forty Aḥādīṯ by Imam al-Nawawī, translated and commented by the author Samir Mustafovski. It should be a constant companion in everyday life for the Muslims, through which they learn their beautiful religion with the mobile phone. Nowadays we Muslims have all kinds of apps on the phone, but very few Islamic apps. This app is the only app in the German-speaking area that offers the 40 ḥadīṯe with explanations. At the moment, the book by the author Samir Mustafovski is the most extensive explanation of the 40 ḥadīṯe in German.

The best-known ḥadīṯ collection includes the small and manageable compilation (selection) of the 40 aḥādīṯ (kitāb al-arbaʿūn) of Muḥyī al-Dīn Abū Zakarīyā Yaḥyā ibn Šaraf al-Ḥāuzāmī an-Nawawī al-Šāfiʿī N (born 1233 in gest . ibid 1278 AD / 631-676 AD). This work, and especially his more widely known work riyāḍ al-ṣāliḥīn, belong to the most widely translated works in the entire Islamic world after the Koran. These two works can be found in almost every mosque library around the world. His works are well known and highly valued among Muslim scholars.

In his work, Imam al-Nawawī has summarized the 40 aṯādīṯ, the most important and significant aḥādīṯ, so that every Muslim can learn and internalize them by heart. His aim was to put together a small selection of aḥādīṯ for the Muslim in order to give him a basic knowledge of Islam. With this basic knowledge, the Muslim should be able to understand and practice Islam. Various Islamic principles (of belief, Islamic jurisprudence and ethics) are presented to the Muslim in these aḥādīṯ.
