4mobi | assets is a application that is designed to work alongside various fixed asset management modules.

The app allows a designated user to prepare transactions relating to fixed assets on the mobile device, and synchronize those transactions with the fixed asset management module.

User access and transaction security is driven from the fixed asset register and no access is possible without proper authorization.

4mobi | assets currently links to the fixed asset management software Modern Asset.Cloud and communicates via a secure encrypted API.

Transactions that can be initiated from the app are:

-Asset acquisitions for capitalization.

-Transfer of assets between cost centers, categories, locations and custodians.

-Disposal of assets via scrapping or sale.

Standard functionality include the ability to scan the asset’s barcode , serial number or tag number to identify the asset.

Users can capture a picture using the mobile device camera, as well as specify the current condition of an asset.
