The European plastics industry is at the beginning of a new industrial revolution, “Industry 4.0”, which will force the sector to make rapid changes in the design, manufacture, operation and service of manufacturing systems and products.

For a successful adaptation to the Industry 4.0 framework, Plastics Industry Managers must evaluate its impact on their companies, adapt their Business Model and develop a Medium-term Strategic Innovation Plan for the implementation of appropriate and applicable innovations.
