For more than a decade, 6Beds has stood with the operators of California's residential care homes of six residents or fewer. Our members run Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) serving individuals with developmental disabilities and Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs) — providing quality, affordable care in real neighborhoods, in family-style homes.

WHY 6BEDS

Homes of six or fewer residents are protected by the Fair Housing Act, allowing individuals with disabilities and frail seniors to live in residential neighborhoods, in family-type settings. That protection is where our name comes from — and defending it is why we exist. Our members are licensed by the Department of Social Services and meet the same Health and Safety Code and Title 22 standards as large corporate operators — the difference is that our homes are in residential communities, and our care is affordable.
