Vishu Priya has a brother, Rajesh, who is a photographer. Vishnu Priya completed her college-Vanita Maha Vidyalaya. She likes her school life and got many proposals during school days.

She enjoys watching movies with friends. A Tamil Director saw her in Superstar Krishna's house function and gave a chance for a short film. She did her first shoot in Chennai. Next, Vishnu Priya got a heroine opportunity through director Maruti. She feels thankful to the directors who support the Telugu heroines and gives them the opportunity. She did a Tamil movie titled Konjam Mainakale, and Telugu films like Prema Katha Chithram, Romance, Mr Pellikoduku, Balupu, Pyaar Me Padipoiyaane, Pilla Nuvu Leni Jeevitham and much more.
