Previously, ADRES was known as FOSYGA (Solidarity and Guarantee Fund), but in 2015 it was transformed into ADRES with the purpose of strengthening and improving the management of resources for health in the country.

By consulting the ADRES, it is possible to obtain a series of data related to health insurance and the affiliation of Colombian citizens to the SGSSS. Some of the data that can be obtained by consulting it are:

1. Affiliation to social security: Allows you to verify if a person is affiliated with the social security health system and to know their affiliation data, such as the scheme to which they belong (contributory or subsidized), the health promoting entity (EPS ) to which it is affiliated and the date of affiliation.

2. Contributions and payments: It allows to know the history of contributions and payments made by a member of the social health security system. This includes information on the quoted periods, the value of the quotes and the EPS or entity responsible for receiving the payments.

3. Health benefits and services: Allows access to information on the health benefits and services that an affiliate has received, such as medical consultations, hospitalizations, surgeries, medications, among others. This includes data such as dates of care, procedures performed, and associated costs.

4. Procedures and requests: Allows you to know the status of procedures and requests related to health insurance, such as EPS changes, procedure authorizations, special affiliations, among others. You can check if a request is in process, approved or rejected.
