AethelHook: Claude & Codex

AethelHook is a remote control for your AI coding agent. Approve every risky action from your phone, or send it a new task from wherever you are.

Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, and Devin CLI can all run shell commands, overwrite files, delete folders, and install packages on your machine. Most developers click Allow on the permission dialog without reading it. AethelHook moves that decision to a second device, so approving something takes a deliberate action, not a reflex.

APPROVE FROM YOUR PHONE

When your agent wants to run a command, your phone gets a notification. Tap Allow or Deny, or open the full decision screen for more options. The agent proceeds or stops immediately.

SEND PROMPTS FROM YOUR PHONE

Kick off a task on your PC without touching the keyboard. Type or speak a prompt, and a headless run starts in a known project directory. Each project keeps its own resumable conversation, per agent. Works for every supported agent except GitHub Copilot CLI, which is approval only.

HOW IT WORKS

AethelHook runs as a Windows Service on your PC. It starts automatically when your machine boots. Your phone reconnects on its own when it is on the same network (or over Tailscale). You do not launch anything, and you do not configure anything after the first setup.

If you are away from your desk, everything still works over Tailscale on mobile data.

SECURITY

Devices pair over a one-time QR code, confirmed with Windows Hello (biometric or PIN) on your PC. Every connection is encrypted and certificate-pinned. Nothing is stored in plain text. No third party sits between your phone and your PC, and no relay server is involved.
