The leading international journal on motion imaging.
American Cinematographer is the leading international journal about the motion-picture production techniques employed by cinematographers and their closest collaborators. Published since 1920 by the American Society of Cinematographers, this monthly magazine covers studio and independent features, foreign films, television, short films, commercials and music videos, always with an emphasis on the technical means by which the creators achieved their visions. In addition, we keep readers abreast of advances in motion-imaging technologies related to preproduction, production and postproduction.
