All significant damage information resulting from Floods, Storms, Bushfires or other natural disaster events is able to be accurately recorded on site. This includes location details, images and GPS position.

The structured collection of this data and helpful estimating tools will assist councils with defining the full extent of deterioration or loss of the council asset as the result of an event.

In the case of Road infrastructure damage, the application for restoration funding is directly output to the Roads and Maritime (RMS) Form 306. Other outputs are also possible including spatial display using Google mapping and direct submission to the RESTORE application

The use of RECOVER significantly improves accuracy and reduces the time necessary to prepare data and images for claims and decreases the administrative workload involved in the submission process.
