Audio Compressor reduces audio file size right on your phone. Compress MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, WMA and more to free up storage and share audio faster, with sound quality you control.

Everything runs on your device. Your files are never uploaded to a server, the app works offline, and it needs no storage permission. You pick each file yourself.

🎵 SUPPORTED FORMATS

Compressed in their own format:

MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, OGA, Opus, WMA, AC3, MP2, AMR

Lossless formats:

WAV, FLAC, AIFF, AIF

These become space-saving M4A by default for the biggest saving. Turn on "Keep original format" to keep WAV as WAV, FLAC as FLAC and AIFF as AIFF at 16-bit CD quality.

• Sample rate: Original or 8,000 to 48,000 Hz

• Channels: Original, Mono (1 channel) or Stereo (2 channels). Mono is about half the size and great for speech

• Normalize volume: evens out loudness so quiet and loud files play alike

• Fade in and fade out: up to 30 seconds each, by slider or typed value

• Remove any file from a batch before compressing

💡 A NOTE ON QUALITY

Smaller files come from a lower bit rate. At higher settings the difference is hard to hear; at lower settings you save more space. You always choose the balance. Files that are already highly compressed may shrink only a little, and the app shows the real result before you save.

Audio Compressor is free and supported by ads. Single-file compression is always free. Batch compression and exports at 320 kbps or higher are unlocked by watching a short ad.
