BeerLog

BeerLog is your personal beer journal: a fast record of every beer you've tried. Private by default, public when you choose.

Standing in the bottle shop wondering if you've had that hazy IPA before? Scan the barcode and find out in a second, with your own photo and rating to jog your memory. No more buying the same disappointing beer twice.

Scan and know instantly

Point your camera at a barcode and get a clear answer: had it, or new. For something new, fill in as much or as little as you like.

Quick logs

Snap a photo and start typing the beer name. It autocompletes from an evolving catalogue shaped by beer lovers everywhere. Add a rating, style, ABV, serving type, notes and where you drank or bought it if you want them. Or just log it and move on.

New: earn caps

Caps are BeerLog's bottle-cap awards. Log your first beer, chase hazy IPAs, work through New Zealand breweries, add beers the catalogue is missing, or join in on your friends' logs, and the caps stack up. Each cap has levels to climb, and every cap you earn goes on your shelf.

"Have I had this?" in seconds

Search any beer or brewery and see your own photo, your rating, and when you last had it. Visual confirmation, fast.

Explore the catalogue

Browse thousands of beers and breweries, see new releases as they land, and dig into beers by country. Keep a wishlist of beers to hunt down next.

Stats that tell your story

See how your ratings spread, how much you're logging month by month, your most logged styles, and how you like your beer served.

Bring your history with you

Already keep a beer log somewhere else? Import your full history from a CSV or JSON export: beers, breweries, ratings, dates, even photos. Everything you've logged, from day one.

Share with friends

Log a beer and your friends see it in their activity feed, where they can cheers it, react and comment. Choose who gets notified: everyone, a few, or no one. Add friends and see what they're pouring too.

Go public, your call

Make your profile or individual logs public to reach beer lovers beyond your friends, and explore a public feed of what people in your country, or around the world, are drinking. Everything stays private until you opt in, and you're always in control: keep any log private, block users, or report content.
