Homelessness is seen in our society as a precarious or particularly stressful living situation. Living, working, health and social contacts, on the other hand, are seen as important components of a successful life. Anyone who is involuntarily homeless or threatened by the loss of their own apartment and cannot help themselves usually has social difficulties that often appear insurmountable to those affected.
