Bill Able Time Tracker

The Bill Able timer is an efficient time tracking app made with convenience and ease-of-use in mind. This app lets you easily keep track of how much time you spend on different clients or accounts. And you can define the accounts that you want to track.

You don’t have to use Bill Able just for clients. This is a great app for quickly and simply tracking how much time you spend on anything. Maybe you want to keep up with how much time you spend on different class subjects. Maybe you want to know how much time you spend on different areas of your business. Maybe you want to log how much time you spend in different offices. Bill Able is an easy simple tracking solution.

Once you start Bill Able, go to the “Clients” menu to select a client (or account) to work with. If your client is not on the list, just enter a new name and client number, then press “Add Client”. Otherwise, select a client from your client list and go to the Timer screen to begin tracking time for that selected client.

Simply press “Start Timer” and get to work. The timer will run even if the screen goes to sleep or you use other apps on the phone. When you are done working for that client, press “Stop Timer” and the time you spent will be added to that client’s record.

When you are ready to look at all the time you have recorded, press the “Download Client Data” button on the main menu. This will send all of your client information--names, id numbers, and times--via email as a single spreadsheet file that can be viewed in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or any spreadsheet app.

This app was originally created for use in the legal field, where a lawyer may work with many clients for long periods of time. It was designed to allow lawyers to document recorded time with the name of an individual client, making it easier to remember which time goes with whom. However, we have had other clients use this app in many different ways because its simplicity makes this app versatile and useful.
