BoostX: Game Toolkit

BoostX is a game settings manager for Android. Save settings for each of your games, apply them with one tap, show a floating display frame-rate overlay, and check your device's status while you play. No root required.

BoostX does not increase hardware performance. It helps you manage settings that standard Android apps are allowed to change, and it shows device information so you can see what is happening on your phone.

GAME PROFILES

Create a profile for each game. When BoostX detects that the game has launched, it applies your saved settings:

- Do Not Disturb

- Screen brightness lock

- Auto-rotation lock

- Display frame-rate overlay on or off

- Focus Mode preferences

GAME SETUP (ONE TAP)

Apply a ready-made set of game-friendly settings in one step. The Game Setup screen lists exactly which settings will be changed, and you can re-apply it at any time before you play:

- Switch to the device's high refresh rate option (supported devices only)

- Turn on the floating frame-rate overlay

- Turn on Do Not Disturb

- Lock screen brightness and rotation

FOCUS MODE

Turn on your chosen game controls together with a single tap: Do Not Disturb, brightness control, rotation lock and the frame-rate overlay.

DISPLAY FRAME-RATE OVERLAY

A lightweight, draggable floating counter that shows your screen's UI frame rate, measured with Android's Choreographer API. It reflects display refresh behavior on your device. It is not a measurement of the FPS of a specific game.

SCAN SNAPSHOT

Take a snapshot of your device's current status:

- RAM in use and available

- CPU load

- Battery temperature

- Current display settings

- Network latency (ping) to a reference server

The snapshot is for information only. It is not a benchmark or a performance score.

BACKGROUND APPS

See which apps are running in the background and available RAM, then choose apps to close using standard Android system APIs. Android manages memory on its own, so apps may restart and results vary by device and Android version. BoostX does not guarantee more free memory or better performance.

GAME LAUNCHER

Browse your installed games in one grid and launch them directly. Your saved profile is applied on launch.

DEVICE STATUS

Check battery percentage, battery temperature, RAM and CPU readings from the home screen while you play.

LANGUAGES

BoostX follows your device language, or you can choose one in Settings.

PERMISSIONS AND WHY THEY ARE REQUESTED

- Usage Access: only to detect when a game opens so its profile can be applied

- Display over other apps: only to show the frame-rate overlay

- Modify system settings: only for brightness and rotation control

- Do Not Disturb access: only to turn Do Not Disturb on during gameplay

You stay in control and can turn any permission off at any time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

BoostX manages game environment settings available to standard Android apps. It does NOT modify GPU drivers, change kernel parameters, overclock hardware, bypass Android restrictions, raise your device's hardware limits, or guarantee higher FPS, smoother graphics, or faster performance. Actual performance depends on your device hardware, Android version, temperature and the apps you are running. Some features may behave differently across manufacturers because of Android OS limits and background process policies.
