Al-Hakim al-Tirmidhi—his full name, Abû 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Bisyr—was born in the early 3rd century AH and died in 320 AH. He was known as an ascetic hadith expert, a famous Sufi, and the author of various great works, including: Fountain of Wisdom and Let Your Heart Speak!
