Club Africain or Club Africain (French: Club Africain), abbreviated CA, was founded in 1920. The club's football team is one of the traditional bets on the championship title, along with its rivals Esperance Sportive de Tunis, ES Sahel and CS Sfaxien. He is currently trained by the Tunisian Saad Dridi. The team won thirteen trophies, thirteen championships and three Super Cups. The club includes several other disciplines, the most important of which are: handball, basketball, swimming, and water polo.

Club Africain is also the first Tunisian team to win the African Cup of Champions Clubs in the early 1990s in 1991. It also won the Afro-Asian Cup for Clubs in 1992, the Arab Cup for Cup Winners Club in 1995, the Arab Champions League in 1997, the North African Cup for Champions Clubs on two occasions in 2008 and 2010 and the Maghreb Cup For the champion clubs on three occasions in 1974, 1975 and 1976, and the Maghreb Cup for Cup Winners’ Cup in 1971. The team’s most prominent achievement was the 1991-1992 season when it won the championship, the Cup, the African Cup for Champions Clubs and the Afro-Asian Cup for Clubs
