What is 'Can You Server' ? Your Android device becomes a Web and Mail Server. On the LAN, 3G, or moving between them.

'Can You Server' provides a way to author, prepare and serve up web pages and images from your Android device. Your Android device becomes a Web Server.

The pages can be accessed from inside the Local Area Network that you and other users happen to be on at the moment, either via the app or using any Browser also on the same LAN. Further, depending on your configuration, users from outside - anywhere on the Internet - can also access the web pages which you have created on your device. From their Browsers, they can access the web pages from other phones or devices, including phone and tablet devices, as well as desktops and laptops, etc.

Sending and receiving of mail messages is supported. As with the web pages, the mail messages which are exchanged exist on the sender's devices. Those messages are read from the Server which is running on the sender's device.

Further, as you move your device from LAN to LAN and to 3G, etc., the web pages on your device continue to be accessible.

Most importantly, the source web pages, images and Mail messages remain on your device, and are served up from there.
