Whiskers with birds singing beautiful sound sound
The canary (Serinus canaria), also known as the realm canary or, popularly, canary is a small songbird, member of the Fringillidae family. This bird is originally from the Azores, the island of Madeira and the Canary Islands. Its name comes from the latter, and the name of the islands comes from the Latin word canaria which means "of dogs", as the Romans found many wild dogs there. The name realm canary was given in opposition to land canary, as canaries were taken by pirates and navigators as gifts to European kings.
